On a chilly Saturday morning (16th September 2017), as the sun was beginning to rise, our brave team made their way to Faygate, after months of intense physical and mental preparation, to take part in what has been described as “probably the toughest event on the planet”!
They battled their way through litres of grade A mud, ice, electric shocks and other challenging obstacles! They made it back in one piece, with the exception of a few scrapes and bruises but it was well worth it. All of this was to raise much needed funds for our brilliant nominated charity, Grief Encounter, who support bereaved children and their families to help alleviate the pain of losing someone close to them.
It was a challenging, but absolutely amazing and unforgettable experience. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported and sponsored us – we could not have done it without your support.
